As a big Firefox fan, I liked that PolyBrowser is based on Mozilla’s web browser. By using PolyBrowser you get the same ease of use, the same fast speed, and the same functionality as you would get by using Firefox. Ah, but you see, PolyBrowser enhances the functionality Firefox has to offer. PolyBrowser has some features that Firefox does not have, like the very useful panoramic navigation function for example.

At the time of writing this, PolyBrowser is available for Microsoft’s Windows operating system and for Apple’s Mac OS X. PolyBrowser works with any Windows edition from XP onward and with any OS X edition from Lion onward. A Linux version is in the works as I write this. But if you visit the Download section on PolyBrowser.com, you can sign up and get a notification when the Linux version is rolled out.

If you’ve used Firefox in the past, you would immediately feel at home with PolyBrowser. That’s because the interface is similar to Firefox’s – and you have the same interface customization options that Firefox has to offer. If you haven’t used Firefox in the past, you would quickly figure out PolyBrowser’s interface. Just like Firefox, it has a user friendly and easy to navigate interface that you will figure out in no time at all.

The most interesting thing about PolyBrowser’s interface is the panoramic navigation function that stiches websites together, thus presenting them side-by-side. Say you accessed three websites. At the top of PolyBrowser’s interface you will see tabs for these three websites. And on its main panel you will see these three websites presented side-by-side. You can easily move from one website to another, you can zoom in and out, you can resize the display for any of the websites you accessed.

PolyBrowser comes with a built-in sidebar that allows you to perform web searches.
PolyBrowser also comes with an option to save tabs to the cloud.

PolyBrowser takes the wonderful functionality that Firefox has to offer and it enhances it. I particularly liked the panoramic navigation function that stitches websites together.

Pros

PolyBrowser is available for Windows and Mac OS X; a Linux version is in the works. Just like Firefox, PolyBrowser has a user friendly interface that can be customized. There’s a handy panoramic navigation function that stitches websites together. Use the built-in sidebar to search for things online. You can save tabs to the cloud. Add-ons are available for PolyBrowser.

Cons

None that I could think of.
